This battle kept me on edge through the whole thing
That next episode Pv gave me chills man i love the Aura colors especially Hadlar's your right its going to be Nuts man
Agreed.. you know with all of the Shoenens we have seen with excellent animation and over the top fights.. Jujutsu Kaisen, Demon Slayer to name a few this "average" animation seems to really reach top tier status with character development, feels and actions. I really look forward to Dai every week! :)
Too bad many people don’t talk about this show
The first rule of Dragon Quest is: you do not talk about Dragon Quest. :P
Lol
Yeah, in shows and real life everyone usually comes to a point in their life where they need to do it and finish it themselves.
Definitely agreed
What the hell are they going to do against the dark king after all this? well, maybe he'll die of old age by the time they get to him
That's their best chance, at this point. -__-
Yeah boiiii that was intense probably one of my most favorite episodes so far i love the red color of hadlars aura when he powers up he definitely grew on me hes my dude.
yup Hadlar and his guards are the villain's you actually end up growing to love
Dai and Hadlar's battle was quite heated and a stormclash of awesomeness.
Will everyone stop translating "nakama" as "friends"? It's "comrades", for goodness's sake!
For some reason I imagine you as the person who would get into a frothy rage when they see “catsup” instead of “ketchup” at a supermarket
I would rather be ranting under my breath if I saw 'ketchup' on a can of tomato paste, which is the case here. I'm just irritated that people are afraid to call things what they are because they don't want to use a stigmatized word - there're 'nakama's being translated as 'friend's all over the place, have been for years, and that's my first rant about it. If it wouldn't really influence the meaning... but it does! They're not friends in this situation, they're comrades driven by the same cause, same aspirations, not JUST as willy-nilly a term as friends, a specific case.
Words often don't have perfect one-to-one translations. Culture and context play a role in how we understand and express ideas. Pretty sure "nakama" is somewhere between or contains both of what English means when we say "friend" and "comrade".
No, the meaning of 'nakama' is a 'comrade' or 'companion', it has a different connotation, it's a person that is either driven by the same cause or doing the same job together with you. There's also 'nominakama' - 'drinking buddy', but an idiom. Friend is someone you are personally attached to, the 'nakama' are united by an external factor and not necessarily even acquainted. I see it as tiptoeing around a stigmatized 'commie' term, sacrificing a part of the meaning.
Okay, at this point Hadlar's gotten back up like six times. Someone give him a free smoothie.
another my favorite manga is worth all the praise as the best manga of all time.💯:

The animation in the next episode looks insane!!
This is the PRIME CLIMB! Get ready for next episode you might die from the chills!
I got the English volume for dragon quest
Dai is about to use the sword of Kazuma Kuwabara's power.
Least he isn't as ugly as Kuwabara. Though kuwabara didn't need a physical sword and was more made out of pure energy.
XD
GAAAAAGH CLIFF HANGER!
I commented "GIGASTRASH!!!!" here last week.. I guess it was deleted and flagged as a spoiler or spam 😢😢
Hairdlar
Bro this series is extremely underrated, really wished more people would watch this anime
Could probably because it doesn’t have an English dub .I mean the manga will get translated
Ahhhh always ending at the best part nonethless still an epic final confrontation with Hadlar last full on power vs Dai Zapple
Gotta feel for Hadlar after everything he went through obtaining a super beast body infused with the black hole device that could've wiped out everyone to losing his servants, truly an epic character development
Best part is to come:
Avan Gigabreaku? xD
Hadlar fujimi no zombie
cliff hanger pogggers 😐
Lol
so this what happens when a villain has the power of friendship on his side.
Poop is so annoying he needs to die
The Japanese need a symp to relate to
Good episode ❤️!
This was a good episode but had some rough old school shounen writing, "his new strash is at least five times stronger" genuinely made me laugh and popp with the " hadlars attack has the will of the royal guards" line was rough we dont really need someone to just know this crazy shit just so they can say they know it, after we just saw that hadlars attack was powered with the will of his guard and just saw that the strash was dope.
a little too much play by play i was hoping this was just gonna be an animation bonanza, the true dragon shit was rad as hell though
Dai's getting so tired and beat up from his fight with Hadlar, even with the power of his friends I don't see how he'll be able to take on Demon King Vearn after this. He'll probably have to get some new power up or transformation to stand a chance.
I understand where Popp is coming from because he's worried about his best friend and he doesn't understand a warrior's honor code but he really needs to respect Dai more. I mean he's the main character and the son of a dragon knight after all. Also Hadlar has just as much plot armor as the main characters holy crap, the dude just won't go down man.
No - no -- it's not Hadlar - it's these damn writers going for UH/??????? I hope this story is not in a death -time loop written by somebody like the unfinished symphony by Shubert.
Go Dai😭
Geeesh taking so long forever for this what is this DBZ🤣
IS MY MAN GONNA GIGA BREAK?! GIGA YES
Pop is right Hadlar was killing humans for hundreds of years I hope Dai will die for this. I think they forgot who killed Avan.
Ah, my weekly dose of Dragon Peak, went by so fast.
The guy just won't stay down no matter how many times Dai delivers the amazing attacks. Whipping out his new Avan Strash Cross on Hadlar to try and end this duel. It did look successful but I was nervous it could be that easy and of course it wasn't. Hadlar wouldn't just go down after one big hit no matter how crazy and new it is. Dai out forth a great effort trying to win that clash since it also sent all their crazy heated aura towards the loser. Meaning that Hadlar got the new Cross attack and all that swirling energy thrown his way. Popp wanting to intervene does make sense and part of me sided with him in the episode but I understand the others stopping him. Dai wants to settle things with Hadlar for good and wouldn't feel satisfied if the others stepped in even to help. Its kinda bone headed but understandable and makes for this awesome battle to happen. Couldn't be over that quick and next episode looks absolutely nuts!
